![]() ![]() I know that universally speaking, one in 44 million events happen every second technically, but it is still fishy. In other words, my 17.5 times over odds bad luck should only happen in one out of every 44 million shiny hunts. So, assuming that 25 full hours were hunting with a 31+ chain and no lure, and assuming I see about 4 pokemon every minute (both conservative estimates), I found that my bad luck is about one in 44 million. ![]() I'm certainly not a statistics expert, but being interested in math I decided to do some rough calculations as to how unlucky I really am. I've tried EVERY method (In and out of caves, in and out of routes, catching every spearow (my target) I see, letting every regular pokemon despawn, etc.) But nothing is working. Fast forward 25+ more hours and I'm still on my second hunt. Back last June I decided to make a new profile to hunt on for an SBQ, and within the first two hours I got a Weedle in Viridian Forest while one of the free ground item Lures was activated. I did some shiny hunting, and had luck that was very close to the odds, around 1/273 with charm, lure, and chain. Hey everyone, so back when Let's Go was first released I beat it pretty quick and got the charm. Please use r/pokemontrades instead, which has systems in place to reduce the chance of scams. Please visit r/PokemonTrades, which has a trade system set up to help facilitate trades and reduce the chances of scammers.ĭue to the fact that most scams centre around the stealing of Mews, we no longer allow Mew trades in this subreddit.
